As more immigrant raids are likely to continue across the nation –– and more foreign-born communities have their legal status revoked by The Trump Administration –– it's hard to find any semblance of good news... But what do younger Americans think about all this? Well, as the old phrase goes, "The youth are alright!" Across Central Ohio, multiple student walkouts have occurred at public schools to protest the ICE operations happening in their communities that are disrupting their friends, families and neighbors –– teachers' unions in the state have also given guidance to school administrators on how to deal with any ICE presence on school grounds, noting that "schools must remain safe, welcoming spaces where every student — regardless of immigration status — can learn, grow, and thrive without fear."
